I never expected to find myself getting stuck back into Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer mode in 2020, but that’s exactly what I’ve been doing over the last few weeks. Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer is still alive and kicking, and I hope it comes to Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Will Mass Effect Legendary Edition be on PS5?Ĭan you still play Mass Effect 3 multiplayer 2020?.Why is there no multiplayer in Mass Effect Legendary Edition?.Is Mass Effect Legendary Edition 60 fps?.Will Mass Effect Legendary Edition have all 3 games?.Is Shepard dead in mass effect Andromeda?.Will Mass Effect Legendary Edition eventually get multiplayer?.Are the Mass Effect 3 servers still up?.Why is there no Mass Effect 3 multiplayer?.Are people still playing Mass Effect 3 online?.Can you still play Mass Effect 3 multiplayer 2020?.Made no sense to the lore, but who gives a shit? It provided a fourth faction of enemies to fight, and the team did a superb job of integrating the Mass Effect 2 Collector aesthetic and style into the game's balance and function.

With Mass Effect 3 the excitement came from being able to play as a Krogran with a warhammer, a human assassin with a sword, and a vorcha launching into a blood rage.Īdding in the Collectors was the cherry on top. Folk get excited about new heroes and characters added to League of Legends, Overwatch, and Smash Bros. This helped individualise the roster, transforming the line-up from a traditional shooter into something more akin to a MOBA or fighting game. More often than not, particularly towards the tail end of the DLC cycle, the characters added had abilities, species, and powers found nowhere in the main game. These characters were so much more than reskins or model swaps. Moreover, BioWare miraculously supported the mode with a plethora of free updates adding new maps, enemies, balance passes, gear and guns, and more importantly entirely new characters. It was tight, rewarding, satisfying, and just the right length and difficulty. Mass Effect 3's multiplayer was rad as hell and your life is lesser for not having experienced it in its prime. You might be thinking "but EatChildren, BioWare is poop, and Mass Effect 3's ending is bad, surely that means the multiplayer was forced crap garbage?", and I can forgive such delinquency, but nevertheless you are wrong. Now that we know EA is in the process of remastering "fan favourites", I'm sure we can all agree that absolute top priority should be putting together a spruced up build of Mass Effect 3's magnificant horde mode co-op multiplayer and making it free to play so we can indulge in another wave of glorious tech and biotic combo kills.
